Here are a few pictures of the garden I have going now. Let’s see…I am growing Tomatoes (a few different varities – Rutgers, Sioux, and Better Boy Hybrid), Bush Beans, Zucchini, Yellow Squash, Asparagus, Garlic, Cucumbers, and Ground Cherries.
With the beans, I planted an entire package on one day, waited 10 days and then planted another package, waited 10 days and planted another. I am hoping this gives me a constant yield throughout the summer.
Cucumbers climbing…with bean plants in the foreground.
I can’t wait until some of this is ready to harvest!
Here are some more pictures of the growing veggies. The Bush Beans are growing at different intervals because I did several succession plantings.

Yellow Squash and Zucchini
I got the raised bed all ready back in March. I put the planks in so I could walk into the garden.
I put out the broccoli, spinach, and lettuce around mid-April. I also put out the tomatoes and ground cherries. We had one frost after that, so I had to use a floating row cover one night!
After some yellow leaves (and still some every now and then), the veggies are growing just fine!
