…Or should I call them Spa Cloths? So soft…so pretty. And great for gifts! These three are going to someone as a surprise!
The patterns can be found on Ravelry. Do you know about Ravlery? If not, sign up! It’s a knitter’s dream site. Crochet, too! It’s free to sign up and there are lots of free patterns on there. Some are paid patterns, but there are also tons of free ones.
One is “Three Easy Wash Clothes” by Elizabeth Carls. (Yes, “clothes”…typo on the original – hey we all do it). I used the second pattern in the set (Box Stitch Washcloth) for a couple of the ones I did.
For these wash/spa cloths, I used KnitPicks Dishie Yarn. SO SOFT. I bought several skeins when they were on sale. Yarn can be expensive or can get expensive when you want to buy so much of it like I do, so gotta’ love those yarn sales!
These are the box stitch washcloths:
I also did one found on Ravelry called “All Washed Up” by Jill Arnusch. That one is below:
Got them ready to send and decided to snap a few pics for the blog. Thought someone out there may want to try these patterns.
By the way, if you’re a beginner – these are great projects for you. If you are out of the beginner phase, but want to make some really pretty washcloths without the sometimes-frustration of learning something new, these are perfect for you, too!
P.S. – If for some reason the links I added don’t work, go to Ravelry and put the names of the patterns into Ravelry’s search engine (“Three Easy Wash Clothes” and “All Washed Up”).
